courses

For those who use German in their professional work and need to master detailed vocabulary in practice.

Professional approach

Business German

The business language course is an offer addressed to persons who perform office or administrative work or work related to international trade.

The course focuses on broadening the vocabulary related to economy and business in a broad sense as well as vocabulary used in typical office activities such as e-mails or traditional correspondence.

Medical German

Our own programme prepared specifically for the needs of medical professionals, consulted with physicians of various specialties during its creation. It is recommended for doctors and medical university students who plan their professional career in German-speaking countries.

The course prepares you to pass a professional examination (Fachsprache für ausländische Ärzte) conducted by German-speaking Chambers of Physicians, which is required if you want to work in clinics in Germany, Austria or Switzerland.

Specialised course specification

Specialised courses are our own programmes prepared by teachers specialising in relevant subjects.

Specialised courses are addressed to people who want to expand professional vocabulary as well as acquire and put into practice the language skills gained during their previous studies.

In order to participate in specialised courses, you must have completed at least level B2 for C1 courses and at least level B1/B1+ for the B2 business course.

  • The programme of specialised courses is planned for three independent semesters. Therefore, you can start from any semester you wish.
  • A specialised course includes 60 lessons per semester. Each lesson lasts 45 minutes, classes are held in blocks – once a week 180 minutes (4 lessons).
  • Specialised courses are available in our offer in the autumn and spring semesters.

NOTE! A specialised course is not a substitute for a general language course (e.g. Standard B2.1; C1.1 or intensive B2; C1), i.e. upon completion of the course, the participant will acquire language proficiency in the world of business or medicine, but will not have the knowledge e.g. to take the Goethe-Zertifikat B2 or C1 exam.
